Burning Love Autumn Socks

The Burning Love Autumn Socks are worked in a mosaic knitting pattern in front, and slip stitch rib patterns in back and on the heel/gusset. The cuff is higher in back than in front, with an elastic rib in the upper edge. Since mosaic knitting is a bit tight, the back is worked in a more elastic pattern. During knitting you will notice that the front is shorter than the back. This is right, and desired.
The heel is my variation of the “Strong heel”, with gusset and heel knitted at the same time, followed by a heel turn. There is no need of picking up stitches with this type of heel, and it fits a high arch. In some countries it’s called the “increase heel”. I worked the heel increases beside the middle section.
All my socks are knitted with the Magic loop technique, on one circular needle. They may be worked with DPNs instead of Magic loop.
