Burning the Ball From Both Ends
March 3rd 2022
All funds raised from the sales of my patterns will be donated to the International Red Cross to help the Ukraine!
ALL prices have been raised to $5.00 US, even patterns which normally I have offered for free, and will remain at that price point until Putin and his minions GTF out of Ukraine.
A simple scarf that consumes a single ball of self striping yarn. Using the ‘knit one below’ (K1B) stitch creates a soft striping ribbed look that is identical on both sides.
It lays very flat with no rolling edges!
Gauge is not too important with this scarf!
Any self striping yarn that you choose will work nicely. Just adjust your needle size and stitch count to suit your yarn. (Multiples of 2 stitches.)
A backward loop CO and a sew BO is needed to maintain stretchiness.
Not a single purl stitch in the whole scarf:-)
