BURRO’S TAIL SOCKS by Twinset & Purl

Designed for the July installment of the Botanical Yarn Sock Club 2023. These socks were inspired by the gorgeous succulent, Burro’s Tail (Sedum morganianum) and Sophie’s stunning colourway for this month’s Sock Club. The lace repeat I used on the leg of these socks reminded me of the hanging “tails” of this beautiful plant.

Pattern Information
Sizes: 1 (Adult M, 64 sts)/ 2 (Adult L, 72 sts)
To fit approximately 8-inch (20 cm)/9-inch (22.5 cm) foot circumference.

Yarn: Botanical Yarn merino sock (75% SW Merino Wool/25% Nylon) 100g/425m (464yds) in the Burro’s Tail colour way.

Needles: 2.5 mm / US 1.5 (or size needed to get gauge).

Gauge: 8 sts & 12 rounds = 1 inch / 2.5 cm in stocking stitch
