This pattern took shape as my hook moved. I thought it would be round, but started to take on bursting points as I went along. A friend told me as I was showing her progress that it looked like a planet in the center. I thought the points looked like rays bursting out. Therefore the name became Bursting Planet.

I used Knit Cro-Sheen #10 lace thread on this. It took approx. 200 yards. It is 20” across from one point to the another.
