The Burton Scarf was designed specifically for a massively bulky yarn, like Cascade’s Magnum. Named in honor of Metallica’s original bassist, the late Cliff Burton, this scarf is worked in a knit-and-purl pattern stitch (chart included) of fat, jagged lines, reminiscent of Burton’s musicianship. The result is a scarf that is a welcome relief from the regularity of traditional rib patterns. It is very dense and warm, but still pliant enough to be wrapped wrapped around the neck in classic scarf style, as shown pictured here on our model Curtis.
