Business in the Front Cowl
I really wanted to test this lace pattern out for a totally different project.
A request from a special Momma, a couple of awesome colourways and a few weeks later…
Your finished cowl will be a lovely, versatile winter warmy. I like the lace panel in the back (hence the name) but you can definitely put it in the front, on the side, pull the whole thing down over your shoulder or keep it scrunched up by your neck.
The pattern is easily adapted to different sizes. Measure yourself around the neck, shoulders and bust to determine if you need to add more stitches at the cast on, additional increases or more length!
Difficulty: Advanced Beginner/Easy Intermediate
Yardage Note: The Crooked Kitchen Yarn that I used was actually 215yds/skein (rather than the 205 mentioned above). I used about 355yds as I measured 75yds left at the end
Pattern Notes:
1) It’s important to read the whole pattern first! I know, I know, I never do it either but in this case, the middle of the pattern does not instruct for the majority of the stitches. They’re mentioned once at the top and then not again.
2) I’m the only one who tested this so if you notice any errors, please let me know! (Sometimes I know what I mean but no one else does :D)
