A stretchy rib pattern, using two different colour yarns held together, with a base colour throughout, lets you create any amount of different combinations.

To Fit Head circumference of about 40 - 46 - 51 - 56 - 61 - 64 cm or 16 - 18 - 20 - 22 - 24 - 25 inches

Materials: Sock yarn ( 4 ply, fingering weight) Yarn Suggestions: Regia 4 ply or Malabrigo Sock
Remnants in a minimum of three different colours, as follows: Main colour for background, medium, approx. 125 - 175 - 215 - 215 - 250 - 280 - 325 metres
Cuff colour for lower section, dark, approx. 55 - 80 - 95 - 105 - 120 - 140 metres
Crown colour for upper section, light, approx. 70 - 100 - 125 - 145 - 160 - 190 meters
You can either use just three colours, or group smaller remnants into the three categories, light, medium, dark.
Tension/ Gauge: 38 sts and 35 rows make 10 cm or 4 “ square in K1,P1 pattern, holding two strands of yarn together
Knitting needles: 3.25 mm ( US3) circular needle, 40 cm (16”) long, for baby size you could use 23 cm (9”)
