The best way to keep warm is by layers, so I have created this beanie double thickness to help trap heat. I’ve used two different coloured yarns for 2 different looks.

The primary stitch is the linked double crochet which stops those large holes between stitches when the hat is worn. See here for a quick video tutorial - Moogly

Easily adapted by deleting rows from the larger adult to a mid size child. Increase/decrease hook size and play with different yarns to create a multitude of sizes and tightness.

I’m happy to hear any suggestions for improvements and/or additional embellishment.

There are no issues with you producing and selling this item; all I ask is you don’t claim this as your own design and give credit if you publish it elsewhere.

If you create this, please send me a picture I would love to see other’s creations.
