Busy bee scarf
The Busy bee scarf is crocheted in the honeycomb mesh stitch.
There are two variations of the scarf included in this pattern - a triangle and a rectangle.
Each of my patterns include a number of yarn variations (3 for the triangle; 4 for the rectangle). The yarn variations along with the required hook sizes mean you end up with different sizing in the finished item. The patterns also include instructions on how to make patterns longer and / or wider.
The yarns in this pattern vary from a 4ply to a 10ply with hook sizes from a 3 to a 4.25. The grams of the yarn vary from 50 - 85 for the triangle version and 160 - 470 for the rectangle version.
Backstory - I was given a gift voucher by a dear friend and purchased the 200 Crochet Stitches by Sarah Hazell in January of 2016. My nana passed that March and I attended a wedding in July of that year on the day that my nana would have turned 100. So I set myself to create a scarf / wrap using the honeycomb mesh stitch to wear to the wedding.
I am greeted at my front door by my lavender and lots of busy buzzy bees. Fast forward a few years and a pattern was created.
