You will require approximately 5000 m/ 5470 yards in DK for a 2.2m X 1.9 m Queen sized blanket.
You will require more solid yarn than variegated yarn ( I required 11 balls variegated and 14 solid for the two-colour blankets)

Stitch abbreviations:

Chain = ch
Single crochet = sc
Half double crochet = hdc
Double crochet = dc
V - stitch = V (dc, ch1, dc) in same stitch
(…) = Repeat the stitch pattern as many times as indicated
