Feather Colors - Big Twist: Value - Rust (Orange) and Big Twist: Value - Deep Red (Red)
Beak Color - Big Twist: Value - Varsity Gold (Gold)
Wattle Color - Big Twist: Value - Varsity Red (Bright Red)
3.5 mm Crochet Hook
18mm or 15mm Safety Eyes
Poly-fil stuffing

Terms:
mr - magic ring
slp - slip stitch

Notes:
Invisible decrease - put hook through the front loops of two single crochet stitches, yarn over and pull up loop (two loops on hook) yarn over and pull through two loops.

The body and feathers of this pattern are worked from the top down in a continuous round. Legs are worked bottom up in a continuous round.
Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of the rounds.
