A crescent shaped shawl inspired by Buttercup from The Princess Bride.

When I think of Buttercup I immediately think of her red dress she wears with the gold belt, and I wanted to translate that into a romantic jewelled shawl.

Worked from the top down, it has garter sections which are broken up by bands of lace and beads and ends in a pretty lace section with a garter edge and a picot bind off.
