Mosaic crochet pattern (overlay) that can be repeated as much as one likes for varying size blankets, afghans, or to be used in conjuction with other designs.

Yarn weight recommended:
For fuller, fluffy feel 4/worsted, 5mm hook
For more traditional mosaic, tighter feel 3/DK, 4mm hook

The 9 butterfly (3 x 3 rows) blanket pictured used 2 large skeins of ILTY in white (~700yds), and 3 skeins of ILTY variegated color (~500 yds), not including border. 4/worsted weight, 5mm hook.

The sample in teal was leftover scraps from Mandala yarn (3/DK, 4mm hook)

There are a lot of color possibilities, have fun!

Edit 2/28/2021 Row 29 of written directions had only first half of the row (I forgot to count backwards for the other half) Most of you figured that out because the pattern is symmetrical, but I fixed that in the written directions. Sorry if anyone was confused! <3
