Butterfly
We are whirling right into Spring with Bree the Butterfly! Whether you are new to amigurumi or have grown a passion for making stuffed animals, this pattern is for you. Minimal sewing is involved and they can be worked up in an afternoon! Finished butterfly is about 10 inches tall, perfect for cuddling!
This pattern is worked in the round with the body and head as one piece. You will want to be familiar with working in a magic circle, sewing of parts (antennae and wings), and changing colors in amigurumi. Skill level: Easy/Intermediate - this is a beginner friendly pattern with some sewing of parts.
Materials you will need:
• Size 4 worsted weight yarn (100 yards pink, 25 yards white)
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• 12mm safety eyes
• Black crochet thread for eyelashes/smile
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Stuffing
• Stitch markers
Abbreviations: US terminology
MC – Magic circle
SC- Single crochet
SC INC- Single crochet increase
INV DEC- Invisible decrease
Rep – Repeat
