An adorable beaded butterfly crochet bracelet, that is easy to make and fastens with either a button or magnetic closure. It makes a gorgeous quick gift idea.
It is simple to adapt for your wrist size and includes 4 sizes: child, small, medium and large. Alternatively you could thread onto elastic for a stretchy version.
The pattern uses US crochet terminology with UK shown within () in abbreviations.
Sizes/Finished Measurements unfastened end to end (including button fastening, note: magnetic fastening measures 0.5cm smaller)
Child approx. 5¾” (14.5cm) - wrist size approx. 5” (12-13cm)
Small approx. 6¾” (17cm) - wrist size approx. 6” (15-16cm)
Medium approx. 7¾” (19.5cm) – wrist size approx. 7” (17-18cm)
Large approx. 8¾” (22cm) – wrist size approx. 8” (19-20cm)
Recommended Yarn: 4ply #2 weight cotton
Yarn used: Drops Love You 9 Recycled cotton.
Hook: US Size D (3mm) crochet hook
You will also need:
A small Button or magnetic or clasp fastening,
8mm beads with 1-2mm centre hole (check the yarn goes through them),
Beading needle if needed to bring yarn through the bead hole
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
