The pattern is for a knitted Butterfly shaped Cushion. It is ideal for children over 3 years of age, teenagers and adults.
The materials used are soft and snuggly, ideal for the lounge or bedroom.
5mm needles are used throughout.
You will need 2 balls altogether, 1 each of contrasting King Cole Yummy yarns.
I used the following:-
Lilac Cushion, 3462 Lilac and 3370 Tutti Frutti
Blue Cushion, 2222 Sky and 2211 Jelly Bean
Pink Cushion, 3463 Sugar Pink and 2214 Battenberg
You will need toy stuffing for the filling.
If you wish to make the antennae you will need a white pipe cleaner and narrow double sided tape.
Also 3 x 2cm to 2.5cm matching buttons.
The finished Butterfly Cushion measures approximately
44cm wide, 42cm long and 10cm deep when stuffed.
