Butterfly Dreams Shawl
by Linda Choo
Crescent shaped shawl, knit in one piece from the neck down. It consists of 3 triangles separated by 2 spines. It is easily made in 3 sizes, by adding repeats to the body. 2 different options for the body are provided. The Butterfly border is based on an Estonian “butterfly” stitch, where beads (optional) are used in place of nupps, and a cable worked instead of a gathered stitch. The lace edging contains optional beads.
Both charts and written instructions are provided.
