Materials Needed
1 ball 3ply crochet cotton
2mm crochet hook
Earring hooks
Jewellery pliers
Sewing needle
Scissors
Fabric stiffener glue
Paint brush
Foam board & pins
Terminology & Stitches Used
Ch - Chain - yarn over, pull through 1 loop on hook
Sl st - Slip stitch - insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch and 1 loop on hook
Tr - Treble - yarn over x2, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook x3
Dtr - Double treble - yarn over x3, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook x4
TrTr - Triple treble - yarn over x4, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook x5
Qtr - quadruple treble - yarn over x5, insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull through stitch, yarn over, pull through 2 loops on hook x6
Notes
Using the fabric glue is an optional but recommended step. It makes your earrings sit much flatter and neater and is so easy to do.
