Butterfly Garden (S-2005)
Lace butterflies soar above a border of blossoms on these square garter stitch lace pieces. Knit from the center out in a circular garter stitch lace and case off in a simple picot edging.
Change yarn weight to vary the finished size. Using one stitch count, lace weight will make an elegant square scarf; Shetland jumper or sport weight will make a warm shawl; worsted weight a cozy throw.
Finished Sizes: (approximate, after blocking)

Lace weight shawl: 52” square
Shetland jumper or sport weight shawl: 52” square
Worsted weight throw: 60” square
