Make a cute butterfly holder for your chap stick! Lip balm held in by a bottom flap that closes with a small button on back. Attach a small split ring and lanyard clip on top and attach to your key chain or bag. You could also use the wing section of this pattern to make a pretty butterfly applique!

Stitches and Techniques used:
• Slip Stitch (SLST)
• Single Crochet (SC)
• Half Double Crochet (HDC)
• Double Crochet (DC)
• 2-DC Cluster (Cluster with 2 double crochet’s - explained in pattern)
• Begin with a Magic Loop or Chain-4 loop (see youtube.com)
• Crochet in Rounds

Materials Needed:
• Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in body and wing colors
• Size F/3.75mm and G/4.0mm Crochet Hooks
• Stitch Marker to mark beginning st of a round
• 1 3/8” button to close flap (clear or color matching body color)
• Tapestry needle
• Optional: Small split jump ring and a small clip (if you plan to carry the holder)
