This Butterfly Love Baby Blanket is a pattern that is so much fun to knit! There are 5 sections knit all in one piece. It takes about 350 yards of yarn to make a 24” square blanket. The stitches that you will need to know are:

The images are formed by knitting and purling. There are 2 charts and each are also written out for those who prefer written directions. There are 2 small chevron sections as well.

I wrote up this pattern because a friend of mine was decorating a nursery for her new baby girl in hearts and butterflies. It was a fun and easy knit and she just loved it!
