MATERIALS AND TOOLS:

  • Cotton yarn in DK / light worsted or 4-Ply / fingering weight in white, yellow and black I used Scheepjes Catona in Snow White, Yellow Gold and Jet Black
    • 2.5mm crochet hook / Size B-1 or C-2 depending on how tightly you crochet
    • 5mm safety eyes
    • Fiberfill
    • Stitch markers
    • Yarn needle
    • Sewing pins
    • Scissors

SIZE:
The fish will be approx. 11 cm/4.3” long if using the indicated hook and yarn. If you want it to be larger or smaller you can use a different yarn weight and adjust the hook size accordingly.

CONSTRUCTION:
The head and body are crocheted in one piece. All fins, except the pelvic fins are crocheted on. The black markings are sewn on. The mouth is embroidered.
