Wear it cuffed, wear it slouchy. Wear it bright, wear it neutral. Throw it in your bag just in case or don’t take it off all weekend. This classic knitted ribbed hat makes for a great wardrobe staple. Its simple design makes it a versatile piece that is perfect for everyday wear.

Language: English. All patterns written in standard US terms.

Knitting skill level: beginner

Basic knowledge of knitting is necessary (basic knitting stitches, working in the round).

Size:
Fits head size: approx. 50-52 cm (19.6-20.4”)/53-55 cm (20.8-21.6”)/56-58 cm (22-22.8”)/59-61 cm (23.2-24”)
Total depth of hat from cast-on row: ~33.5/35/36.5/38 cm or 13.1/13.7/14.3/14.9’’.

Materials:
• 16 inch (40 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles or US 4 (3.5 mm) double pointed neeldes.
• Original yarn: Lana Gatto Maxi Soft (100% Wool - Merino) 99 yds/1.75 oz (90 m/50 g), 2/3/3/4 skeins
•• You can substitute yarn just make sure that it matches requared knitting guage
Gauge:
23 sts x 30 rows = 4 x 4’’ (10 x 10 cm) worked in stockinette st after blocking
