Butters the Bat - 8 Page PDF

Have you ever seen a Midnight dance of a bat? Perhaps Butters could show you the next time she visits. You never quite know when she will make her entrance, the midnight dance does not start at midnights like its namesake. Be sure to watch her pirouetting into clouds and loop-de-loops in her awe of the moon.
Whatever her mood, you will be sure, you are in for a treat of the eyes.

This PDF includes the written instructions in US terms and step-by-step photos detailing how to make the pieces to finish your creation. When made with DK weight yarn (samples made in Stylecraft Special DK) and a 2.0mm hook, the finished make will measure around 15cm/ 6” tall.

The project can be made using any weighted yarn, just adjust the hook size to match your choice.

You’ll need to know how to:

• make a Magic Ring or a chain 2 equivalent
• work in a round
• single crochet
• increase/decrease
• half double crochet
• slip stitch

You will need the following materials:

Yarn: Stylecraft Special Dk - Acrylic - 100g/295m/323 yards
1 ball of each colour (you won’t need full balls):
Black (1002) and Graphite (1063)
2.0mm crochet hook
14-16 mm black safety eyes. The bigger eyes are from @Darkside_crochet, found on Instagram.
Soft stuffing/ Fibrefill
