8-9y, 9-10y, 10-12y, 12-14y).
Measurements:
Chest circumference:
Approximately 73cm (76.5cm, 80cm, 83cm, 86.5cm, 90cm, 93cm, 96.5, 100cm).
Total length from shoulders:
Approximately 40cm (42cm, 44cm, 46cm, 48cm, 50cm, 52cm, 55cm, 56cm).
(These measurements concerned the finished work NOT the person wearing it)
Recommended needles:
3.5mm, 4mm circular needles, 80 cm long (for body).
3.5mm, 4mm short circular needles or dpns or magic loop technique (for sleeves).
Yarn:
Garn studio Drops Air color A (main color, wheat no.02), and color B (contrast color, oregano no.47)
(Content: 65% alpaca, 28% polyamide, 7% wool. Weight/Length: 50gm= Approx. 15om)
Or
You can switch to Garn studio Drops Soft tweed
(Content: 50% wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose. Weight/Length: 50gm= Approx. 13om)
Amount of yarn used:
If Air is used:
Yarn A: 200 (200, 200, 250, 250, 300, 300, 300, 300) gms
Yarn B: 150 (150, 150, 200, 200, 200, 200, 250, 250) gms
If Soft tweed is used:
Yarn A: 200 (200, 200, 250, 250, 300, 300, 350, 350) gms
Yarn B: 150 (150, 150, 200, 200, 200, 200, 250, 250) gms
Gauge/Tension:
24 sts x 24 rows/rounds in corrugated rib pattern on 4mm needles = 10cm x 10cm
24 sts x 40 rows/rounds in quilted lattice pattern on 3.5mm needles = 10cm x 10cm
(Take your time to get correct stitch AND row/round gauge. You might change needles size to get the correct gauge)
This sweater has approximately 12-16 cm of positive ease.
Please note that any change in gauge or switching to yarn of different composition might not give you the same finished measurements or finished look.
