Perfect for keeping your hair off your face, without wearing a hat, headbands are a winter wardrobe staple. Button and Bow are simple moss stitch (seed stitch in US) and garter stitch bands, made special with some finishing touches. Both are quick and easy projects that make ideal gifts.

Both patterns have three sizes, to fit a younger child, older child or adult.

You will need 6mm needles for the bands, 4mm needles for the bow decoration and up to 50g (150m) of DK yarn for each band - ideally in two contrasting colours as the bands are made with two strands of yarn held together.
