Button Cowl
This chunky loom knit cowl is knit on the yellow round Knifty Knitter loom as a flat panel. The pattern is easy and knits up quickly. You only need to know how to do an e-wrap knit stitch and a purl stitch. I was able to knit this up in an evening.
I used a single strand of Herrschners super bulky fleece yarn (purchased at www.herrschners.com) to make the gray cowl. In order to knit the red cowl with the Loops & Threads Cozy Wool yarn, I knitted with 2 strands held as one to achieve the bulky effect of the gray cowl.
The button allows you to make the cowl snug against your neck for even more warmth. With the loose stitching, it is not necessary to create a button hole as you can just slip the button through the wide stitches.
This pattern is also included in my Cowls, Vol. 1 eBook. This eBook contains 4 unique customer favorite patterns at a discounted price of $10.
The following patterns are included:
Alpaca Cowl
Button Cowl
Fringe Benefits Cowl
Lookout Mountain Cowl
