Tips for making smaller and larger flowers included in the pattern as well as flower variations

These flowers are made with thread and smaller buttons, but I have used lightweight yarn and large buttons to make these as well. You want to use a hook size and thread size appropriate for the size of the button and button hole you are working in.

This is an amazing flower!
You can make 3 or 4 in an hour and they are perfect additions to headbands, flower centers, beanies and hair clips.

These are very flat and sturdy which makes them perfect for scapbooks,cards and other paper crafts.
