Button On Scarf
This pattern gives you a lot of options for wear. The piece is crocheted as one long scarf, with button holes at one end and a button panel at the other that can be folded over and buttoned around a strap. The pattern also offers a keyhole feature allowing it to be worn giving the options of different looks.
You can wear this as a long straight scarf, and infinity scarf, it’s wide enough to be a shawlette, and it can even be buttoned to a tank top or narrow strapped dress. So many looks with just one project.
I used about 4 balls of Aunt Lydia’s Classic 10 crochet thread for each panel, color #001/white and #497/Dark Royal. With hook size D/3-3.25 my gauge is 5 shells (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) by 8 shell rows = 3” square.
Other materials needed are (3) 3/4” buttons per panel and a needle for sewing them on.
