A very easy and quick-to-make button-top slouchy/beanie hat

With a simple half double crochet base, 6 double ribs, a wide single crochet band, and a crocheted button sewn on the crown.

To fit: Adult (Hat circumference 20”-22”; Hat length 10”

Materials needed: 1 skein worsted weight yarn (aran/10ply); 5mm hook, yarn needle, 1 button (optional).

For the Denim Blue hat, I used Cygnet Aran in Denim, and for the Green hat, I used Vanna’s Choice in Dusty Green.

Gauge: 10 sts and 12 rows hdc with 5mm hook = 4”
