For newborn size

Gauge: 14 s in 10 cm/4in over stockinette stitch

Recommended yarn: any to obtain the gauge. Aran for regular look, or thinner yarn on larger needles for daintier look.
Recommended needle size: to obtain the gauge, usually 5.5 – 6.5mm / 9-10.5. Your needle size might vary depending on how tight or loose your knitting is. Please be sure to make a gauge swatch to make sure you obtain the gauge. If necessary, use larger or smaller needles than recommended
You will need: yarn, knitting needles, darning needle to weave in the yarn ends and six buttons.
The upper half of the onesie is knit flat, the middle part is knit in the round and the bottom half is knit flat again.
