Buttonbush
Pam loves a peplum. (If you don’t believe us look to Amalia and Bragita.) This flattering jacket features a shawl collar and exposed seams, and is otherwise worked up in unassuming garter stitch, making the construction and the details the stars of the show. It begins with three separate pieces that are joined at the waist and worked flat to the underarm. Fronts and back are worked separately to the shoulders, which are shaped with short rows, and are joined with an exposed three-needle bind off. Sleeves are picked up around the armholes and are worked in the round to the cuffs. Right and left collar are extended and shaped with short rows, then joined at the center back neck with a three-needle bind off.
Shown in size 32” on a 31” / 79 cm, 5’11” / 180 cm tall model (1” / 2.5 cm positive ease).
