Buttonless Face Mask Ear Protector
Skill level: Easy

With no buttons around the house and a desire to make some ear protectors for our health care workers, I decided to create an ear protector pattern that only requires yarn. I tried to make the pattern as simple as possible while keeping the ear protector strong and durable. Please let me know if you have any questions about the pattern.

These need to be able to go through many washings without losing shape or wearing thin, so I used a medium weight cotton yarn. You can use a different weight cotton yarn - this is a great project to clear out some of your stash - just make sure the band is long enough and the buttons big enough to fit the purpose.
