Buttons McZ is an interactive amigurumi with a floppy, comical rag-doll persona. His eyes snap on and off, limbs button on and off, and his mouth zips. He’d be fun sitting on a shelf in the office or can serve as a learning tool for preschoolers.

Simple handsewing and embroidery skills are needed to complete this project.

Optional plastic pellets are used for weighting down bottom of body. Fill toe of a knee-high stocking with about 1⁄3 cup pellets and knot securely. Insert pellet packet at bottom of doll.

Notions: Stitch marker (m); green felt scraps; 6–8” large toothed zipper; sewing thread and needle; poly- ester fiberfill; optional plastic pellets and knee-high stocking for making pellet packet; extra-large snaps; six 1” buttons; two ¾“ buttons; embroidery floss and embroidery needle.
