Buttress
Join brioche KAL in my ravelry group Marie Knits. What would be the prize? I think sharing is the best reward. Among that I will select a winner who gets a perfect project bag for his/her next brioche project!
The design is inspired by the architectural element, flying buttress, which supports the main vault of gothic cathedrals. The invention of a flying buttress enabled an extremely hight buiding with narrow walls to be built.
There are twelve flying buttresses on the hat supporting each other. The hat is worked in the round from the bottom to the top using reversible two - colour brioche stitch.
