As written, this hat will fit a wide range of head sizes to according degrees of fit. If you know you have a smaller head (less than 22”) and like a tight brim OR you know you tend to knit big, you may want to use a smaller needle on the brim.

When working the body stripes, draw the next color up loosely over the previous row’s color or use your favorite method for jogless stripes. The pattern does not contain tutorials for such.
