• 1100 yards of Main Color and 1100 yards of Contrasting Color (2200 yards total)
• Stitch markers
• 60-Inch US size 2 (2.75 mm) circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Yes, 60 inches is highly, highly recommended. 47 inches will work, but you will want to invest in needle protection to avoid any accidents. They happen, and are tragic.
• Tapestry needle

Gauge -

20 stitches and 28 rows - 4” or 10 cm

Some good color combos to try out include -

Remember that you can always test if your colors have enough contrast by taking a photo of the colors side by side and using a filter to turn it into a black and white photo.

Swatching -
Gauge is not vital to this project, so swatching is not necessary. If, however, you want to do a test swatch there are two sets of swatching patterns I have up for free – Four Elements Baby Dragons 1 and 2. Total yardage does not account for swatching.
