SIZE
Small(Medium:Large) to fit 48(53:58)cm/ 19(21:23)“ head circumference. The finished hat measures 43½(48½:53½)cm/ 17½(19½:21¼)” around at the top of the brim and is 21½(23½:25½)cm/ 8½(9¼:10)“ tall.

MATERIALS
4ply/fingering weight yarn with approximately 320 metres/350 yards per 100g. You will need 75g.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
2.75mm/US 2 needles for flat knitting.

A stitchmarker.

TENSION/GAUGE
33 sts and 36 rows/rounds per 10cm/4” in blocked stocking stitch/ stockinette. 30 sts (maximum brim width) and 36 rows (pattern repeat length) in the brim measures 7cm/ 2¾“ long and 7cm/ 2¾” wide after blocking.

Adjust needle size as necessary to achieve the specified tension.
