I’m not active on Ravelry anymore. My designs (especially the shawl designs) were done by teenage me with little care for precise stitch counts, my own method of solving those problems being to simply get rid of extras at the end of a row and fiddle in a yarn-over or two if I came up short. Those of you brave (or desperate) enough to try making one of my patterns, be warned that if this kind of thing bothers you a lot, and the absence of support from the designer causes problems, you may want to look for patterns elsewhere.

C Is For Crescent is a crescent-shaped shawl in garter stitch, designed to show off the yarn it is made from. It would be a good first shawl or beginner’s project, using only cast-on, bind-off, SSK, slipping the first stitch of every row, and simple short rows.
As always, comments are welcome.
