C2C Crayons Blanket
Every now and then I get the urge to make a C2C crochet blanket as the images it can capture and the excitement of it becoming clear block by block gets you going. The Crayons Blanket was perfect to make to bring some cheer, brightness and happiness.
This blanket is a Corner 2 Corner (C2C) blanket which means it’s made from the bottom right corner, diagonally to the top left corner. You could even work up a practice swatch before diving into the project.
I also recommend making separate balls of yarn to help prevent cutting and joining your yarn with each color change, I personally use hair clips to keep the yarn balls from unravelling. You will certainly will have ends to weave in. If you need some visuals on how to keep your yarn organized there are lots of tutorials available out there.
This corner to corner blanket design uses a ch3+3dc tile, so my blanket ended up being 44 inches by 50 inches.
