C2C Moss Stitch Baby Blanket
Learn how to crochet the C2C moss stitch and work up anything from a coaster to a dishcloth to a baby blanket! This is an easy project with a simple stitch repeat, perfect for mindless crocheting while watching TV, chatting with your spouse, or listening to an audiobook.
The finished blanket measures 33”x33” but is completely customizable since it’s worked in the C2C method.
Unfortunately I don’t have gauge info since I have already gifted this blanket! I’d suggest gauge is not critical for this pattern since it’s a blanket and not a garment or other project where fit is critical.
I used about 7 skeins of worsted weight yarn from my stash. They were fairly big skeins and I know several were Red Heart With Love yarn.
Generally I made up the striping as I went! I hope you will try as well. Uneven stripes I think look so modern and are such a great way to use up that yarn in your stash. I “sketched out” the design in Paint to get an idea of the effect I might like, and made several changes as I went. There are three stripes for each color in the blanket, 21 stripes total.
