A unique temperature blanket design, which allows you to capture the daily weather temperatures over the year. A lovely project to spend just a few minutes on each day.

I recorded the temperature high each day, and crocheted a row in a colour that represented that temperature. My pattern includes a scale with suggested colours (and a choice of two yarn brands) however, the scale is very adaptable to any climate. Any choice of colours will work - and it’s a great project for leftover yarn too!

The blanket is worked in simple stitches which take only minutes to complete each day. Each square represents a month, so the size of the pieces are very manageable to work with.

The finished blanket measures approximately 100cm wide, by 140cm long. Perfect as a throw or blanket for a single bed.

The temperature scale is in °C and based on the UK weather, but it can be easily adapted to any climate and temperatures that suit where you live.

Yarn quantities needed: 14x 100g ball of DK in different colours, and 3x 100g balls of the border colour.
