Ca’ Corner Socks
This is the second pattern of the series ‘Socks from the Grand Canal’. The collection is inspired by the most beautiful buildings that are facing the Grand Canal in Venice and are proudly standing in all their glory as testament of the Most Serene of the Republics (La Serenissima Repubblica). This sock is an interpretation of the stonework that can be found on the façade of Ca’Corner palace, the home of the famous Queen of Cyprus Caterina Cornaro (or Corner, in Venetian).
On the construction
This pattern provides a toe-up construction.
The socks are worked using the magic look method and the needles are referred as Needle 1 (N1) and Needle 2 (N2). If you use DPNs, please divide the work between 3 needles where N1 is the first DPN and N2 second and third.
