Cabanarama
The flower motif in this boxy, slightly cropped top is inspired by Orla Kiely, the fashion designer famous for her graphic, botanical prints. The main body is constructed of flower motifs, which are pieced together as you work using the join-as-you-go slip stitch technique. The colour combination is one of Julia Madill’s favourites: the shades of the classic Maybelline Great Lash mascara package!

NOTES
The main body is constructed of flower motifs, which are pieced together as you work using the join-as-you-go slip stitch technique. The assembly creates a boxy, slightly cropped top with a short-sleeved, drop-shoulder shape. A contrast band is worked up the centre front which is split to create a V-neck and fold-over collar. The same stitch, a half-double crochet worked in the third loop, is used to create the contrast bottom hem and armhole trim.
