Cable and Lace Scarf
by Cindy Walker
Simply written, with just a 8 row repeat, the Cable and Lace Scarf pattern is quite painless and easy to follow. Beautiful cables with lace side panels come to life with each row. Any weight and type yarn can be used. The scarves pictured were made with Pacolet Vally Organic Cotton yarns - Mauna Kea (chunky) and Southern Exposure (DK) Heavier yarns will make a wider scarf that can be ‘hooded’ if you like.
Approximate yardage and yield
Chunky Yarn 600 yards, size 10.5 needle 65” long X 9” wide
Worsted 450 yards, size 6-7 needle 60” long X 8” wide
DK 320 yards, size 5 needle 56” long X 7” wide
