Knitted with aran-weight yarn, this matching hat and scarf set is a quick and easy knit. Includes hat sizes to fit small child, older child, teen/small adult ad regular adult and would make an ideal Christmas gift. I especially like the way that the lacy panel can double up as buttonholes - if you add a few buttons at the cast on edge this can easily be turned into an infinity scarf!

You may prefer to use a cable needle rather than twist the stitches in between the lacy panel. I worked the hat flat, but you can easily modify the pattern to use a circular needle.
