Cable and Lace Socks
Use a sock weight yarn with some stretch. I used 2 skeins of Deborah Norville’s Serenity in a self-striping yarn with a solid. You will need USA No. 2 needles. You will need four knitting markers. This pattern uses the “Magic Loop” method and is top down. You can knit TAT (Two at a Time). I prefer to use two sets of cabled needles. This pattern has a cabled picot top, a cabled ankle and a lace top of foot. You can also choose to switch the cabled lace pattern for the Ankle and the cable pattern for the top of foot.
