This pattern is designed specifically for the Building Blocks Blanket by Michelle Hunter. The pattern is written for a 3 x 4 block blanket (12 blocks total) but it is easily convertible to complete a larger blanket.
I absolutely loved making this blanket and even more so teaching the class. Learning and fine tuning new techniques really enhanced the knitting skill of so many. But the final product looked a little… well unfinished. The edges tends to pucker at the seams, leaving the edges not as straight as I would have liked. So, I designed this simple cable border, that in my opinion, that really frames the final product and hides the unsightly puckers left by seaming the blocks together. Unfortunately I forgot to keep track of the amount of yarn used to complete the border. So if you do choose to use this pattern, I would love to hear from you!
