This is a DIY tutoriual to make a bonnet just like the pictured one!
It is a confident beginner friendly knitting pattern that includes 6 sizes: newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months and 2-4 years.
do not be afraid of cables - they are easy :)

Gauge 4 in / 10cm – 17 stitches in stockinette stitch
You will need a skein of worsted yarn (or any other yarn to obtain the gauge). i LOVE how this bonnet looks made in yak wool, but it works made in other fibers too!

You can use either long straight single pointed needles, or any circular needles. also you will need a darning needle to weave in the yarn ends.
no knitting in the round - all is knit flat! no sewing! you will also need a cable needle to make the cable front.
