A dear friend of mine wanted a hot water bottle cover, so I imagined something that she may like and knit it for her.

This pattern features an intricate cable in the middle of the cover and eyelets on either side of it. The back is plain stockinette stitch.
It also features a tie with 2 pompoms at the ends.
It’s knit flat, but you can knit it in the round too.

It’s one size, to fit the standard 2L hot water bottle.

Gauge is 18 sts and 25 rows at 10 cm/4 inch, in stockinette stitch.

2 skeins of Mondial Merino Plus, but you can use any yarn that gives gauge. I used about 1,5 skein.
